Why can CarFixMate show more than one possible cause?
Vehicle symptoms can have multiple possible causes. CarFixMate provides AI-assisted guidance based on the information you provide and cannot confirm a mechanical fault remotely.
Can I rely on CarFixMate to decide whether my vehicle is safe to drive?
No. Do not rely solely on CarFixMate for safety-critical decisions. For braking, steering, overheating, fuel leaks, severe vibration, smoke, flashing warning lights or other serious symptoms, stop driving when appropriate and seek professional assistance.
Does CarFixMate replace a mechanic?
No. CarFixMate provides informational guidance and does not replace professional inspection, diagnosis or repair.
How are subscriptions managed?
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple ID and the App Store.
My subscription is not showing. What should I do?
First use Restore Purchases in the app. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Does CarFixMate recommend specific YouTube repair videos?
No. When available, Related Repair Videos opens a focused YouTube search based on limited vehicle and issue terms. Individual videos are third-party content and are not reviewed, verified or endorsed by CarFixMate.
How can I delete my CarFixMate account?
Use the account-deletion control available in the app's account settings. Account deletion is intended to remove your CarFixMate account and associated account-side data, subject to limited legal, security and technical retention requirements.
